Book Early
We normally do custom processing on Fridays. There is limited space on these days so please book as soon as possible to ensure you get the day you want. If you are booking for more than one processing day this year, you will need to fill out the for each separate day you are bringing birds.

Types of Poulty
We process the following types of poultry: chickens, hens, turkeys, ducks, geese, pheasants, partridge and squab. If you are bringing in multiple species on one day (e.g. 20 chickens and 5 ducks), please fill out the for the species that you have the most of and in the comments section at the bottom please let us know what other birds you are bringing that day and how you would like them processed.

Crates
Poultry crates are available from Everspring Farms at a rental cost of $1.00 per crate. These crates may be borrowed no sooner than Thursday before you are booked to bring in your flock. Both chicken and turkey crates are available. Each chicken crate will hold 6-8 chickens and each turkey crate will hold 2-3 turkeys.
Everspring crates are orange crates with red doors.

Drop Off
All poultry should be dropped off on Friday morning between 7 am and 9 am. You may drop off caged poultry on Thursday nights at your own risk. All poultry crates you own should be marked with your name. We are not responsible for unmarked crates.

Pick Up (Dressed)
Pick up finished poultry on the following Saturday or Monday between 8 and 10 am. Please indicate in the which day you are planning to pick up your birds. We have scales and tags available to weigh your birds when you come and pick up. If you would like us to weigh and tag your birds for you it will be $0.25 per bird.

*Note for Chicken Producers
We require the Small Flock (SF) number that was assigned to you from the hatchery when you purchased your chicks. If you or a neighbour hatched the chicks you must apply to to register as a small flock chicken grower.
